The filter on mine is right at the air return vent in the ceiling, it’s pretty neat because the vent just swings out. My furnace is in the attic as well, it’s a 120,000 BTU Goodman.

Ducane is made in West Columbia, South Carolina U.S.A about 1-2 hours from where i live!
