Anyone care to explain why they downvoted the above comment? It’s not pleasant, but it’s true (not that Democrats are helping, though, especially considering they still haven’t impeached the most heinous war criminals of our era).

  2. PaintMaryconley Says:

your an idiot…. thanks for your weird compliment

  3. PaintMaryconley Says:

like were gonna take a user who calls himself “slimy dick” seriously? there only down because the PREVIOUS president was a conservative.

  4. AgnesBojaxhiu2000 Says:

the rushie neocons are sooo much like killers charlie manson and jefferie dahmer that i confuse the three … they don’t give a rip about community … they get the largest of suvs that get 9 mpg … to suck up as much gasoline as possible … so that the price that you pay at the pump is much higher … they tell you that it’s about freedom … but just don’t give a rip … diabolical … the neocons spend $400M+ for show biz talk shows to dupe the dopes … but they had to knock off russert

  5. avantexec Says:

1st, I have to keep myself from going insane when I read Agnes comments. Here’s the deal. For 100 years we’ve built our country around cars and trucks. I know democrats that own trucks and SUV’s. I also know of liberals that own private jets that suck gas. SUV’s aren’t the problem. Energy use from India and China are enormous. One thing you’ve got right tho’ is focusing on the PRICE at the pump. Not pollution, global warming, or migrating caribou. DRILL FOR OIL. Then make a better car.

  6. avantexec Says:

I like this video because it shows that politicians have done very little if anything to benefit americans in terms of our energy needs. Both Dems and GOPs are at fault. We as people are at fault for electing these idiots. BOTH parties have too many idiots. We’re still dependent on foreign oil. We have no new refineries. We have no nuclear power. Carter says, “We will never use more foreign oil than we did in 1977″. How do you like those apples, Dems and liberals?

  7. shiftychew Says:

Drilling is not the answer, just a crucial component. France gets about 35% of their energy from nuclear, Australia has a rebate program for energy saved and/or returned to the grid from alternative sources. We need it all. The fastest way to transitioning to alternatives is a strong economy and thats not possible if don’t relieve oil prices.

  8. shiftychew Says:

american oil company’s total profit margins are between 7.5 and 10%. If you look at other huge industries i.e. entertainment, finance, pharmaceutical are all 10-20% higher. Please keep this in mind when you think about the “windfall” profits of big oil.

  9. shiftychew Says:

The price of oil has continued to drop for 3 weeks straight just from the POSSIBILITY of drilling. This is called price speculation on the futures markets. If the world thinks we are serious about more domestic production the price of oil will start to drop immediately. Places like ANWR where there is no infrastructure will indeed take years to produce oil. But off the coast where the infrastructure exsists, it will only take MONTHS.

  10. shiftychew Says:

No thats because the VERY FIRST thing he did in office was the lift the subsidies on oil put in place by Carter. Then the first Bush put a ban on offshore drilling(along with congress) which was held in place til July 08(congress still holds their ban). With these offshore bans came a steady increase in prices and more and more dependence on foreign oil. Yes i am conservative and from texas and no i am not a Bush supporter.

By the way Russert was a guest on Rush’s show…..just sayin

  12. UnconcernedCitizen Says:

I will contribute to the bailout fund if Henry (Hank) Paulson — U.S. Treasury Secretary, former Goldman Sachs CEO, and all-around bald guy ponies up the $200 million in capital gains tax he was exempt from having to pay. It seems Hank made a bundle from 2003 to 2006 and did not have to show Uncle Sam the money. I made around $17,776 during the same period and though I have already paid Uncle Sam, I would cough in a few more bucks if Hank throws up, err in, his $200 million.

  13. ldeluke1 Says:

    I love Glenn Beck!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  14. anorchosocialism Says:

Glenn Beck has all the prejudices and biases of a middle-class white man who never found out what it was like to grow up poor and/or black. He’s never had to overcome any real diversity. True, his family was actually relatively poor in the upscale area that he grew up in. But he never had to work in a factory or a mine. He’s just a spoiled, privileged, middle-class midwest, redneck white bitch. He sits behind a desk all day and somehow comes off as a tough guy. Spectator masculinity. Consume it.

  15. anorchosocialism Says:

Glen Beck has never actually had to deal with all the problems of governing people or making money honestly with his hands. Or making money as a businessman. He’s all talk and no action. I just want to punch him in the face because he never really listens to anything. He makes things sound so much more simple than they really are. That’s not liberal or conservative. It’s propaganda BS.

  16. ldeluke1 Says:

And you sir are a socialist pig who wants to live off the sweat of others. And you no nothing of Glenns life or the hardships he had. And things are simple personal responsibility….You are a bitter probably unemployed uneducated idiot.

  17. anorchosocialism Says:

Sure, I actually grew up in one of the poorest parts of the country (Anthracite Coal Region in Pa where houses start at about $3,000). I worked on assembly lines, in factories, and in construction. When I was 23, I worked my way thru college w/ actually quite a few conservative professors who I really like. I graduated w/ honors. Glen Beck is a fat pussy who never put in a hard days work in his life. he also dropped out of college and sits behind a desk and cries like a little baby. Pathetic.

  18. Knoss Says:

To be fair most of the increase in foreign oil has come from Canada particularly the Athebaska tar-sands, so there isn’t more dependance on unstable nations.

There isn’t an energy crisis in America and the DOE has been a boondoggle. It has been a waste of $64 billion, 3/4 of American energy programs since 1977 have had no benefit while 3/4 of the benefits have come from $3 million programs such as window replacement.

  19. tnkrbll108 Says:

if al gore was president almst 10 yrs ago, i bet everythin wld be diffrnnt.i am amazed at his lecture of global warming &its sad that our government would rather save face &thr own egos instead of saving thr people..the people who we elect .supposed to be we the people for the people by the people, well dammit how about we just dont vote at all , take a stand for once and save hey, we need to go green to save r planet, r home,r world.

  20. cpblackangel88 Says:

Drill for everything,go back to a Gold Standard, and nuclear power. That will get prices lower and bring back our economy.

  21. oodler02 Says:

The only thing this butt face bufoon knows about oil is the sheeet stains oil on his pants

  22. ccstevens5 Says:

you fools stanley meyer (google or youtube his name) solved this problem in the 70s wake up and stop being a slave to these money hungry devils in america.

  23. Murdilizer Says:

they were all bought off with gas cards and free jiffy lube service

  24. UESFHNSAKD Says:

Why the hell did Stumbleupon direct me to this video? wtf? this is horseshit. glenn beck is an imbecile. quite frankly, he is the dumbest person in the political spectrum right now, save maybe Sarah Palin. I am going to give this a thumbs down for Stumbleupon, and may God have mercy on the soul of the person who directs me to the next Glenn Beck video thats not used in a strictly sarcastic or satirical sense.

  25. pipkguitar Says:

Did Glenn just quote Tommy Boy at 0:11?
